#Update — Manage All Your Assets Inside Your Brand-New Content Library

We’ve been a little more quiet than usual lately, as we have been working on some big surprises for you all, the first of which is this major update, bringing a brand-new Content Library to your favorite social media tool.

You can access your Content Library from both the List View & the Calendar View via the Library icon in your Toolbar.

Inside your Content Library, you can:

  • Upload photos & videos to be used later when creating new posts.
  • Edit new and existing files metadata, for instance renaming assets per your internal conventions.

Of course, you can select any file — and even multiple files — in your Content Library and create a post from there:

(Huge) Number of Instagram Business Profiles

#Data — (Huge) Number of Instagram Business Profiles

Impressive growth: up from 15 million back in July, there are now more than 25 million active Instagram business profiles.

Yes, that’s a 67% increase in less than 4 months!

As TechCrunch puts it:

The company throws out a lot of different statistics (back in September it said it had 800 million monthly active users, 500 million daily active users and 2 million advertisers), but this one’s significant as a measure of how many businesses see Instagram as an important way to connect with customers. Instagram also says that more than 80 percent of Instagram accounts follow a business, with 200 million users visiting a business profile every day.

Instagram business profiles do offer advanced features for brands & businesses.

In fast, if you are eligible to a business profile and have not converted your “regular” profile yet, we highly encourage you to do so

Something tells us a major, upcoming Loomly update will let you do more with your favorite scheduler if you do have an Instagram business profile: stay tuned!

Hack Advertising With Spacewolff The Ad Marketplace

#Tip — Hack Advertising With Spacewolff, The Ad Marketplace

Let’s kick off this week with a pretty cool advertising hack: Spacewolff, the ultimate ad marketplace.

Think of it as the “Airbnb of advertising”:

Spacewolff is an online marketplace connecting advertisers and owners of ad space. Small and large businesses, individuals, publishers, and content creators can create and sell space across multiple channels. Advertisers can easily search and sort ad space to identify channels that reach their specific target market and place ads directly through the site.

What’s (particularly) brilliant about Spacewolff is the type of ad placements available: from people’s balconies to someone’s arm tatoo, apartment elevators and frontyards, almost nothing if off limit!

And, of course, you can even place ads on Spacewolff’s homepage & blog as well as in their emails.

What’s in it for Social Media Managers: a unique way to amplify social campaigns with other, creative online & offline efforts.
