Yes, Twitter’s character count is evolving and there has been a huge debate about the whole 140-character limit.
None of this has ever prevented us from circumventing the rules with a simple concept: tweetstorms*.
Manually creating a tweetstorm on Twitter is fine, although it requires a good dose of patience and rigour which, in a way, goes against the concept of tweet storming.
But don’t worry, there is an app for that: Storm It.
The concept is dead simple: add or collect your ideas / thoughts and share them as a tweetstorm on Twitter.
The app is currently available for Android only.
Happy tweetstorming 😉
*What’s a tweetstorm you ask? According to Storm It:
It’s a series of tweets from one person that starts with a number and a slash. Those numbers mean that this is the first Tweet of a longer thought, followed by the second, and sometimes third and fourth. This series of posts, known as a Tweetstorm, is a way to share thoughts and comments that are too long for the 140 character limit.
